A defining moment for OptiFlow AI and the vision of sustainable healthcare 🌍⚕️ Recently, me and my colleague Kuldeepsinh Parmar had the profound privilege of presenting our digital prototype, OptiFlow AI, at the visionary Lakshya 2047 platform. It was an absolute honor to showcase our work to an incredibly esteemed audience: Shri Arjun Modhwadia (Cabinet Minister for Science and Technology, Forests & Environment and Climate Change), alongside the guiding pillars of Parul University— Dr. Devanshu Patel Sir, Dr Geetika Madan Patel Ma'am, Dr Parul Patel Ma'am, and Dr Komal Patel Ma'am. Lakshya 2047 is centered on envisioning a resilient, self-reliant, and sustainable future. For my co-creator Kuldeepsinh Parmar and me, that future must include climate-resilient healthcare. We had the opportunity to demonstrate how OptiFlow AI acts as a digital bridge between environmental science and clinical resource management. By correlating live meteorological data with epidemiological trends, our system shifts hospital logistics from a reactive model to a proactive one—preventing hazardous biomedical waste during dormant periods and ensuring zero stock-outs of critical life-saving biologics during extreme climate events.

🚀 Thrilled to share that Team Planetary Healers secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at the Parul University Environment Hackathon 2026! 🏆 Out of numerous innovative projects exploring "Designing Sustainable Futures in a Digital Age," my teammate Kuldeepsinh Parmar and I presented OptiFlow AI—a predictive, climate-resilient demand forecasting architecture designed to secure medical supply chains. As final-year MBBS students, we see firsthand how climate volatility directly impacts public health. Whether it's post-monsoon Dengue surges spiking platelet demand, or extreme heatwaves depleting IV fluids, static hospital inventories are fundamentally unequipped for ecological disruptions.

Some projects take time, patience, and the right guidance to bloom. I am absolutely thrilled to share that my latest research article, "Thalidomide memorial activity: pedagogies of creativity, joy and immersion in medical education," has just been published in Springer Nature's Pubmed and Scopus indexed journal : BMC Medical Education! 🎉 This publication holds a very special place in my heart. The journey began all the way back in my 2nd year of MBBS. I noticed that while medical education is advancing rapidly, there is a constant need to spark curiosity and joy in the classroom. This led to the creation of the "Thalidomide Memorial"—a student-centric activity utilizing multimodal exhibits like 3D models, short films, and narratives to teach drug safety and pharmacovigilance in a deeply immersive way.

What started as a post-3rd-year exam vacation hobby has officially become my first PubMed and Scopus-indexed publication! 🎉 I am incredibly proud to share that my original article, "A comparative analysis of leading large language models in generating medical literature reviews: An evaluation of factual accuracy and reference fabrication," has been published in the Medical Journal Armed Forces India (MJAFI). With the explosive growth of AI, I wanted to answer a critical question: Can we actually trust tools like ChatGPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and Gemini 1.5 Pro to synthesize high-stakes medical literature?

Served as a member of the Organizing Committee for the GMC Accredited CME: "Exploring Fallacies in Laboratory," organized by the Dept of Biochemistry & AMBI Gujarat Chapter at PIMSR. Deep dives into facts vs artefacts, extravascular samples, and clinical lab automation!

Building on my previous role as Chairman of the Scientific Committee (2025), I am thrilled to share that I have stepped into the role of General Secretary of the Student Council 2026 at PIMSR! 🏛️✨ Focused on advocating for student welfare and driving academic initiatives.

Awarded Distinction and the Overall Gold Medal in 3rd Year MBBS, along with Gold Medals in Community Medicine (PSM) and Forensic Medicine. Deeply thankful to my teachers and PIMSR administration for their constant encouragement.

Happy to mark a major milestone in my MBBS journey: completing 30 presentations across Self-Directed Learning (SDLs), Seminars, and Tutorials during my first three years of MBBS!

Attended "Forensic Fundamentals: Injury to Courtrooms" at Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad. Gained practical insight into legal medicolegal documentation and live courtroom scenarios.

Deeply honored to be recognized at Confluence 2025 for serving as the Scientific Committee Head. Organizing the scientific events of the conference was both a challenge and a privilege!

Secured Runners-up position in Poster Presentation for our work on “Understanding Antimicrobial Stewardship” at Confluence 2025.

Secured First Place in the Skill Competition at Confluence 2025, testing airway management, CPR, auscultation, IV/IM injections, and ETT insertion.

Won 1st Prize in World TB Day roleplay competition presenting community-focused TB awareness.

Attended a general surgery tutorial focused on suturing. Gained hands-on practice in basic suturing techniques, knot-tying, instrument handling and sterile technique.

Cleared 2nd year MBBS. Translated classroom theory into real-world practice through PSM family visits, community assessment, patient interviewing, and health education in rural settings.

Secured 2nd Runner-Up in 2nd MBBS University Exams with Distinction and Gold Medal in Pharmacology.

Selected among the Top 30 in the ELSEVIER National Basic Sciences Olympiad 2023.

Received Silver Medal and Distinction for performance in 1st-year MBBS along with subject runner-up honors.

Runner-up in Storytelling Competition organized by Dept of Psychiatry, Parul Sevashram Hospital on World Mental Health Day.
